New SC430 (with pix)
After visiting this forum and taking a test drive with teeman3 (thanks teeman), I decided to go ahead and buy a 2008 SC430.
I've had it for about six weeks and so far I have:
Replaced the tires with Michelin PS 2's (at 9 miles)
Installed a clear bra (at 400 miles)
Installed an XM radio (at 1500 miles)
I know you've seen silver with ecru before, but here's mine. I have also included a close up to show where the XM antenna is installed. It's painted to match the car.

XM radio install
I had the Vais unit installed behind the dash. The XM plug-in module in installed above the passenger foot well.
XM radio information is displayed on the normal radio display by pressing the AM button. It cycles to SAT1, SAT2 and SAT3. That gives a total of 18 XM preset stations. It will display the channel number, station name, artist name and song title on the normal radio display when you press the "Text" buttion on right side below the display.
The Vais unit also allows the steering wheel radio controls to be used.
For a car that doesn't have the option of XM radio from the factory, it sure works as if it was a factory unit (except for the add-on antenna).

NorCal430,
JohnnyCake here discovered that the VaisTech Satellite Radio module also works with the voice-command system...which is pretty neat trick for an aftermarket system!
If you haven't already seen it, he talks about it in this post.

I'll give it a try tomorrow.
And Habious, I loved your reverse camera/video integration with the NAV system. Doing that install myself is a bit beyond my comfort zone. I'm still trying to figure out how to improve the cup holder.

I had this combination on my last car (Acura) and I wanted it again. Lexus has had the ecru interior with this color wood since the 2006 model year. In looking at available cars I found that I could get a 2008 for a reasonable bump over the price of used low mileage 2006 and 2007 models.
