Default 265/30/19 tire on a 10.5" +29 wheel?

I searched for an answer so I appologize in advance if this has been answered in another thread. Will a 265/30/19 falken work well on a 10.5" +29 wheel? I recently mounted some 295/30/19 tires on these same wheels and am experiencing serious rubbing issues. I realize there will be a stretch but I dont mind as long as there is no rubbing. I am lowered on a Tein S / KYB setup. Thanks in advance

The Falken 452's in that size will definitely work on a 10.5" rim. You'll be stretching a little bit but you'll still be safe. Why not run a 275/30/19?

I'd put the 265 to be on the safe side..I was gonna run a 265 on a 10.5 with a +26 but the guy sold the wheel on me..I think Johnny is running a 255 on a 10.5 with a 29 offset on his Weds

Thanks for all the prompt replies. I was actually considering a 275/30/19 but I figured I would ask first. The car is lowered quite a bit and I really dont want to do any fender mods.

i had 20x10.5 +29 and with 285/30/20 i only had slight rubbing. granted though, those tires were dunlop and they were stretching already

that's why i think 275 will probably do it. 295 is definitely a mistake on that width. of course that's just my opinion, you can always stretch more

Ive got 20x10.5 +27 with Falken 275/30 and I do rub. I dont have much gap at all I can just about squeeze my pinky in the wheel gap ( at an angle )

For time being im going to just drive on it and see if it wears itself in but may have to roll the rear arches.

Though im pretty low

I am assuming this is a rear wheel.

One problem is that your tires will not stretch to your wheel rim. It might look gimpy because of that. It will fit but in my opinion look strange.

A potential second problem is your speedometer will appear fast. For example at 60mph your speedometer will be over 5% at 63.3mph. If you have a warranty remember that it will burn 5% faster than normal.

Also, you will be about 1cm short of being flush from the fender with that rim by the way. This will probably help with some of the rubbing issues. Most of us get our inner fender modded so it does not come down on the wheels.

I have 19x11s +23 effective offset with a 295/30R19 Pirelli and they do rub if I hit something hard or fast. I have a two finger gap and 9kg/mm spring rate in back.
