A Big Rig Hit me, what to do next? See PICs
Today I was pumping gas and a Big Rig slammed right into my parked car. What shall I do next? This is my first accident. I was getting tired of my car anyways.

Sorry to see this but doesn't look like a total loss... hood and fender? Was more damaged?

looks like the fix won't be too bad. The chassis should be fine as you weren't really hit but just ridden over. Depending on the year it might be a good time to upgrade the front valance and lights to 2006 as they will have to buy you the valance and one light already.
Make sure you get a 4 wheel alignment before you sign off on it. Their insurance will have to pay for it. This way you will be certain that the chassis is straight and the bodyshop just didn't slap new sheet metal on.

I hate seeing that pix but I just couldn't stop myself from opening this thread. Heck, I even hate to see my car when its taken apart in any way. In my mind's eye, the SC430 is a really perfect car and should always be seen that way.
How did the front of the truck get no damage? Looks like he jumped and landed on you!

Appears entirely fixable. Worst part is dealing with insurance, shop, downtime,etc.....Select a very reputable shop. I always recommend asking to inspect repaired vehicles first before committing. Take someone that is paint/body knowledgeable with you.
Sorry for the inconvenience but at least it seems nobody got hurt.

That so sucks!
I got hit by a large pickup truck last year when it backed into the front of my ES. I was parked in a car wash stall at the time. I had the trunk lid open and was getting my wash mitt out when....BAM! My car lurched back about a foot from the impact and knocked me right off my feet. It's not great nearly getting run over by your own car!
About $3,800 later I had a new hood, grille, bumper, and headlight assembly. The driver of the truck paid for it out of his own pocket. His rear bumper didn't get so much as a scratch on it, just a bit of paint off my hood.
It doesn't seem to matter where you park these days. You're still vulnerable!

Insurance just got back to me. They quoted me $1,400 for a busted Hood, Fender, Headlamp washer, Bumper and Wheels. Is that too low? I Hate Allstate. They only gave me $123 to repair my multipiece Super Chrome wheel.
Funny fact is when I called up allstate's wheel repair shop, they quoted me $477 and Allstate is bogus. Wheels america said that they outsource to wheels techniques and the average turnaround time is 4-8 Weeks. Sucks to be me.
