Cool. Thanks for the write-up Lexiss. May give it a try once the snow melts.

Well In my opinion those screws will not hold for ****, they are tiny and quite frankly inadequate. If you look under out cars, you will see there is a 1-inch wide channel running from the front to back and it begins to taper off when it reaches the wheel wells. What I did was install the 2 middle ones in that channel and for the 2 outer ones I dremeled out two holes on those outer parts to accommodate the other 2 lights. Then I just used the adhesive provided in the kit itself and some jb weld (any epoxy glue will work) to ensure they do not go anywhere. I have checked them over the past week and they are not going anywhere any time soon.

were they adjustable for lighting angle after they were installed or did you have to point them and then glue them?

Thanks Tommy, I will have to see when I get them. As I have the Wald skirts and there seems to be plenty of room above the Wald skirts I might try drilling through so I can mount the lights flush.

Anyone know how easy the Wald skirts come off/on ? I never saw them before as the shop supplied and fitted them.

Norman,

Mine were not adjustable but I believe the ones in the link I posted up are.

taken from sellers website
-Specialized Angle brackets allow adjustment of angle to accomodate the lowest and highest cars

It sounds harder than it is, you should be able to install them without a hitch.

I ordered mine too. One question; Did you have to raise the car to dremel the outer holes or were you able to install from a flat pavement? (Is there enough room)

Thanks Lexiss,

Lar,

You could do it on the floor but it will be a tight fit, depends on how big your dremel tool is. I simply lifted the car a little with my floor jack and it made it a lot easier

I'm looking forward to this mod. I was so surpised how inexpensive it was.
I have always liked "puddle' lights. I hope it goes as well as my other attempt.

Beautiful yacht Norman, 50-60 footer? Who’s the builder? I cannot really tell from this angle.

I some of the guys who do sport fishing/off shore fishing insist that having certain colors on help attract fish. I remember a guy having blue LED’s installed all around the stern of his Viking and he commented on how more fish approached his boat than when they were off.

Ocean Alexander 58'.
If you ever hear people complain about the costs of Lexus ownership, tell them to go buy a boat.

The baitfish come up at night into the lights and you can see the darker shadows underneath them.
