First things first, the headlights.
You can swap out leveling motor and that little light ( i can't remember the name. Take from the old headlight and you are good to go.
This is confirmed. Headlights are in and work perfect. They look sooooo good.
If you any questions, quote this post.

The front bumper.
Now I was able to get the 02 bumper on there. It wasnt a perfect fit, but it was on there. I took out the headlight washers as I never use them and prefer the clean look.
I then tried the 06 bumper which of course fit like a glove. You will need the 06 grill as the 02 grill is bigger and wont fit.
When you order the bumper cover make sure you speak to someone so you get all the parts you will need (chrome trim pieces) I made this mistake when I ordered from Sewell.

The JD bumper is FRP so with a little grinding and a little paint it'd probably would fit fine. Much easier than trying to make the 2001-2005 stock bumper fit 06 headlights! Fitting the 06 grill would be a little more work.

Here is my 2007 headlight conversion.
The driver side is JDM version, but the passenger is US version.
The signal light sockets appear to be different as well as some other small stuffs on the backside of the both headlight.
I believe that is why there is some contradiction info between powmax's(Euro version) and tlw's(US version) 06+ headlight conversion threads.
The headlight from Japan is pretty much plug and play like powmax said, and the one from US needs modification in the signal light harness like TLW said.
The guru in ASAA here in Houston made a harness for me.
Old bumper fits fine, not 100%, but should not cause any problem from what I can tell.

I'm also upgrading my headlights from 02 to 06 and I'm running in to that same issue with the headlight turning on for a few seconds then off again. Did anyone find a solution for this?

the foglight ones will fit since the parts number are the same. The rest of them won't.
