I'm 100% positive that without trimming they wont fit a 2002-2005 bumper.
But a 2006 bumper is rather inexpensive in the whole game. I was given a price today of $206 for the front bumper and less than $150 for the grill.

That actually sounds like an awesome price. It definately seems worth it to swap over to the 06 front. I might have been mistaken, but I thought you were having a problem with the lights coming on, and then turning off after a few moments. I was wondering if you ever figured this out?

You mentioned that you took a lot of pics... When are you going to share them? One option is to upload to Flickr or some other photo sharing site so that you can share the whole project.
