Default Tire pressure light on, but the system is disabled.

How was it disabled? Is the cable under the radio disconnected?

The cable under the radio/shifter area was disconnected years ago.

But the TPMS light came on...

did this just happen? you also don't use the TPM system like me. if I remember right the dealer shut mine off and did not disconnect under the shifter.

I disconnected my cable and the dash light stayed on. According to the dealer they are not allowed by law to disconnect the dash light in NY. Bummer.

Yeah, this just happened.

The cable underneath the shifter is disconnected.

I've used the car several times the past few days, and it hasn't changed.


So, I don't know how the light could be on. I also don't know how to turn it off...

There are two cables that must be disconnected to disable the TPMS. Not one. Are you sure both are disconnected? How could the light illuminate if it is not powered?

IIRC, I only disconnected one cable.

Where is the second one?
