I can't speak to whether the Neiman Marcus edition = "value"; however the fact that it's a "limited edition" may enhance the "used" or resale value of the car. Personally, I happen to like the red leather/Millenium Silver combination.

Still trying to determine if the NM edition is a Lexus-produced product or a stock SC430 modified by NM. If its a Lexus product then I am looking for the paint code, too.

I recall when the `02 SC430 was in the NM Christmas "Wish Book". The NM edition SC430 is a Lexus product through-and-through. By way of comparison and to see how Lexus collaborates with this high-end retailer, check out the 2005 NM Christmas "Wish Book" which features the `07 GS450h.

You can get it off of the toyota japan website the NM is the same as the noble coloer edition its darker than MSM i think the paint code was on here once ill se if i can locate it for you.

I found many references to the Noble Color Edition, but not a single paint code. The color in Japan is called Cosmo Silver, or Cosmopolitan Silver in Europe... but still can't seem to find the paint code.

I always thought the color that they used was the Thundercloud......looks very similar.

It's a silver with a touch of purple pearlescent in it. Thundercloud is a warmer sandy color. Are we talking about the same car?

If I remember the catalog correctly, I think they called the color "Silver Bell" or something similar to that.

I thought the red looked bad then and it doesn't look any better today!

On the japanese Lexus site lexus.jp/sc it shows the color chart with a similar color to the silver belle car the color code is 1f1 i think this is it.
