Car problem or is it just how it is???
Ok, guys I have a few quick questions from sc430 people... Oh Yeah I JUST ORDER THE NEW 07 LS460!!! But back to the point
1. Is it just me or the stearing wheel is freaking heavy as hell because compare to the mercedes s500, mercedes e320, lexus ls460, tundra, the solara, and the corvette the stearing wheel is way to heavy... Is it standard or does my car have a problem and do i need to get that checked out?
2. When shifting gear after a day of driving I can hear the gear shifting clicking loud especially when I open the door to shift gear to park... Do you guys or girls get that sound??
3. My engine doesn't sound smooth compare to every other car... it doesn't have that contiune smooth sound but has a click every few run time...
4. Is your leather on the back seat head reset pealing??? and how do i fix or prevent it from stoping???
5. Shocks I think When stopping I hear the cracking sound once in awhile wats the deal with that??
5. I bought my car on run flat but recently changed it out (if you have run flat change them out its alot smoother) Any one have pictures of the spare tire ( not just the case but the tire as well?? and how man inches are the spare basicly picture and some specs of it. And alternative of other brand that would work because lexus is trying to get me with an arm and a leg on the cost... Its kinda freaky driving around without spares...
Thanks in advance guys

1) that's weird. the sc430 steering wheel is almost as loose as the ls460 i test drove. not sure about mb
2) i hear some sound, but wouldn't classify them as loud. that's relative. but if you want, show them to dealership and see what they say
3) some clicking (again personal) seems normal to me? the sc has been one of teh smoothest car i have driven
4) mine are just fine. they might peel if without proper maintenance.
5) i have no idea, probably need to have someone check them out

The steering wheel on my SC feels "A LOT" heavier than my LS. I think it's normal though.
The clicking sound when stopping could be the break pads sticking. The dealer puts some kind of lubricant on the rods the brake pads slide on to minimize the noise.

lol you guys need to do more exercise j/k
i will have to go and try out again and see, maybe test it out with the gs and ls for comparison. i know for sure the es and rx are much softer, coz' every time i get a loaner i almost crash the car on first few turns
but then again this could also be because i mod my cars, especially the gs, so the steering wheel is a lot tighter
