Cusco stb is adjustable, so it fits both gs and sc.

I like. The Blue Cusco will match my Injen intake Blue! Where to buy?

How about the oil filler cap, can be accessed easily? No rubbing on the engine cover?

Talwang....would love to hear your impression if the Cusco stb stiffens the front structure when the top is down. If I have a single complaint about the SC, it is the flex you feel when the top is down. It is not near as bad with the top up. I would add this to mine in a heartbeat if it reduces body flex.

That stb alone on the sc430 won't help much based on my direct experience in Tom's stb.
You also need the complete Tom's lower brace set to really tighten up the chasis.

Unlike the one-piece Tom's or Carbing stb, I believe Cusco stb doesn't need to be completely removed when you try to take off the engine cover for some repair/maintainence work.
The center portion can be removed separately while end mounting brackets are being untouched.
It gives you or your mechanic less headache especially your sc430 is on the lift.

btw, the cusco part numbers are the same for gs and sc, so it is just a speculation on my part saying it is adjustable enough to fit both cars.

You can also easiely find a stb for the much more popular is/gs for under $30 as well. lol

Maybe you should try the the multi-piece one for the 2gs.
Who knows? You might get lucky.

Does anyone know the specs of Tom's or another brand? Preferable the length from end to end (including the brackets)? Or the length of the bar

Good question.
That was why I said it was a speculation on my part.

Although both brackets can be moved higher/lower from the outer side, I still don't believe it will fit both cars.
My brother in law had a GS400 with TRD stb before, so I know for sure it won't fit the SC430.

Here is the most accurate parts number from Cusco Japan.
I was misled by the website posted by PLAYTYM.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/6515693-post24.html

It turns out that 188540A is the correct one for the sc430, NOT 187540A which is for the 2gs only.
I guess there is no cheap $30 stb available for you guys.

Really sucks. Now I am beginning to notice the how the car runs with the top down. And to boot, RFT's. Rough.

I dunno if this helps any, but I emailed someone selling one for a gs400, he said the dimensions were:

The Bar length is 36.5"
The total length from bracket to bracket is 41.5"

I'm not sure if this would fit since I don't know the measurements of one for an sc lol

My apologies for the misleading post!

So, does this mean you can still buy one from them for $180.00?
