If the Homelink is not available in the UK, it may be becasue the RF used for garage door openers is different.
These days, remotes supplied by the door companies are so small that "Homelink" is not such a great convenience as when the replaced remotes were larger than a deck of cards. You may be better off just hunting around for a smaller remote.

sounds good to me, just let me know what i owe you, i have family in florida, new jersey, new your and baltimore so any of them can sort the money out for you and send me the unit. can you program the device with you existing remotes for the garages or gates

cool where in florida. Well depending on the car its pulled from will depend how you program it, but most of them program the same way. Meaning you hold down your current remote and hold down the button on the unit then if its a rolling code hit the program button on the gate opener. Also your going to have to custom it on your own. Is that ok? The car I pull the unit from is probally not going to be from another lexus sc430 but rather something else. I know it works since my friends have done it and used it in their cars.

Lexus SC430 homelink and Genie Garage door opener programming
I goofed around for an hour. Then got it to work like butter ...
1- unplug your Genie garage door motor
2- take the Genie remote into wife's SC430 (2002)
3- press car remote and Genie remote, holding both for a long time (20 - 30 seconds). Note: I had the remote about 1" away from the homelink button.
4- when the light changes, I think it went off and/or blinked, let go of both buttons
5- rapidly run into garage, jump on ladder, plug in Genie motor, and hit "Learn" button
After the learn sequence on the Genie motor completed, I went back into the car, pushed the button by the mirror, and the Genie opener was activated. Removed my Superman costume, and had a nice fresh glass of sparkling water (I'm in S. Florida and it's June).
Note: This was done with a 3 button Genie Remote, and matched up to my wife's 2002 Lexus SC430.
I hope this helps. Enjoy!
