I am just curious to know if you have any updates on your story. I normally stick to the 2nd Generation IS forum, but after reading this thread I have been checking to see if you have any updates on your situation daily.

well the new thing that Toyota in Japan called me and promise to take an action very soon so i'm waiting plus they told me to use the car to see if there is more problem! and hell ya there is more than one! and i'm taking my car tomorrow and i did call Japan again and they said they willl deal with all of this...

glad to hear toyota in japan is doing something about it, or atleast promising to. I hope you get a 2006 one to replace your current one. BTW what country are you in?
