I usually drive the Z because of the better gas milage. Also my girl friend drive the SC once in a while and she does not know how to drive stick.

OK here are some review.

350Z:

Pros Quick & fast, great handling (especially w/ sway bar), lots of after market performance parts, fun to drive.

Cons: rough ride, 2nd gear knochy, little interior rattle here & there, NO room (especially when you go shopping)

SC 430:

Pros: Fast, move with power, smooth & quiet, more room than Z, comfortable

Cons: bad handling, feel like you are riding on a boat., no/very little after market part, expensive parts.

Thats all I can think of at this time.

Summary,

I think they are both great cars thats why I got both. You really can't compare the 2 cars. I do get more looks with the Z than the SC. Both cars compensate each other.

nice comparisons man. so it seems like a pretty common problem on the tranny on the z huh? i have heard that more than a couple of times.
