Default HELP: Dye Ecru Leather Upholstery???

Essentially, I am ecstatic with my 2004 Lexus SC 430 "Pebble Beach Edition" with the Azure Pearl (sky blue metallic) exterior. The leather upholstery is ECRU or off-white. I would prefer dark leather upholstery, preferably blue.

Can the ecru be dyed medium to dark blue? If so, what would this entail in terms of feasibility and expense. Any advice, guys?

Thats something I would leave to the professionals. I've never tried to get quotes on the entire seat. Good luck and let us know if anyone gives you pricing.

they only get new leather though, i am not sure if they dye the seats?

i think this will be pretty costly to do (all leather)?

Yes, it could possibly cost as much as replacing with new leather.

Thanks. Case closed.

I saw a new Bentley Continental GT in a color called "Silverlake" with "portofino blue" leather upholstery. Silverlake is almost identical to the "Azure Pearl" (sky blue metallic) of the 2004 SC 430 Pebble Beach Edition which I own and cherish. Unlike the high-maintenance "ecru" interior, the Bentley "portofino" leather resembles a rich blue slightly darker than the blue bars that divide these postings.

This Bentley color combination would definitely have my vote for a future SC 430 limited "Special Edition".

Mercedes have a similar dark blue leather available for some of it's models. The diamond silver on the SL, which is also a very light bluish metallic silver, is available with this leather. I haven't seen the one on the Bentley so I don't know how they would compare . . .
