02 sc430 60K, another 14months to go on my lease..... should have 75K by then so , mine will go for $25K maybe.... but my CEL RV is $34K.... pay over mileage or negotiate a buy at $29K or so and keep it..... what to do..... gotta make it so that it's not worth for them to take it back from me 'cause they will never get $34K at the auction but i don't want them taking the car back and charging me for over mileage..... ( the thing is I want to keep the car.... i intended to use it at this rate of mileage so it's no surprise but.... will keep you guys posted.... CEL RV is negotiable

if you are over mileage by that much, how much penalty are we talking about here?

well, isn't it 15C per mile so...
at 12K/yr x 3 1/2 yrs, i'm at 42K miles for the whole time, i'll be at 72k or 30K over x 15C/mile is $4500. i guess....
you know i'm buying this car.... but i still want to negotiate to below the orig. CE RV.... using the above statistics....
