tire pressure change for Pilot Sports
I put Michelin Pilot Sports on my 2002 SC430 about a year ago - not the allweather MPS but the summer model tires, as I do not run this car in the winter. I put them at 36 pounds cold and reported on this forum that they were an immense improvement, in every respect, over the original run flats. Now I have dropped to 33 pounds cold and they are better yet. I originally chose 36 for sharper handling but to my surprise the 33 pound level seems just as good and yields less wiggly steering on the turnpikes and a somewhat smoother ride overall. The improvements are subtle but they are there.

Thanks for this.
I recently had my A/S's rotated, and with the Daizen sway bars, I started experiencing more tire squeal than I'm comfortable with. I had my tire pressure set to 38, which apparently is too high.
I'll try the lower pressure as well.
Fortunately, my 30k check-up is coming very soon, so I'll have the sensors reset as well.
I hope you do this as well (assuming you have the factory wheels). With the cooler weather coming, they'd go off too soon.
