SC430 always look good in dark colors, but I don't like the red leather & black wood.

It is ashamed they still have not learned how to make wheels that fit the car. Those wheels suck.. blow, cheap and would best fit a Daewoo.

I think that the red interior would be cool for about 2 weeks. After that it would become obnoxious. The dark wood stain also hides the beautiful wood grain. I do like the red cover on the engine though. It doesn't seem to me that this edition should be any more expensive than the stock model.

I agree, I prefer to have no wood at all rather than dark wood stain, & I won't pay a cent more for these special editions with only cosmetic differences.

Pebble Beach, California is a beautiful, scenic, fancy (read rich folks') place, and it is the home of arguably the best, most famous Concours d'Elegance in the country. (A Concours d'Elegance is a meet/show for extremely rare, over-restored older cars [usually pre-World War II]) Lately, however, car companies have taken to debuting upscale cars there instead of at the more customary auto shows. The Cadillac CTS made its debut there a couple of years ago, if I remember correctly. This year, beside the PB SC430, the Chrysler 300C SRT-8 and the stunningly beautiful Ford Shelby concept coupe also debuted there.

If I were forced to pick among the 3 special editions produced so far, the 05 PB will be my choice.

To me Diamond Black > Grey > Bluish silver for a SC430.

I do think the one shown in Madrid earlier this year with dark brown exterior & the red stitched leather is the most appealing, I hope they decide to produce that as a limited edition, hopefully, with other upgrades such as new transmission, hp boost & other goodies as well.

Word. That was definitely the nicest of the SC430 special editions. Pity they're not building it...
