Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows of any celebrities who drive SC430s. I know that Tony Hawk (skateboarder) and Tyra Banks (model) do, but are there others?

Additionally, my father just picked up his SC430 (2002 Silver/Black with nav) on Friday. What an incredible car!

Through watching MTV Cribs and buying car mag on the stand, I've seen many celebs with sc430's. Among them are Missy Elliott, Redman, Noreaga (all rappers) and many others. I also believe many athletes have or had them. I've seen Sprewell pictured in one but now that he has his own customizing shop, I think he now prefers German cars.

I avoid rap.

I believe it was Court TV (A&E?, Discovery?) that aired a program recently on celebrity stalking. The program spent a lot of time with a woman lawyer who specialized in this sort of crime and who owned an SC430. In fact, the car was featured just about as much as she was. Apparently the producer really liked that beauty (the car, not the lawyer).

I don't listen to rap but I sometimes watch the videos because they are like little movies. I have the sound muted mostly to keep from listening to the words. I think it's important to know what's going on out there. I have kids who are exposed to this stuff. If you don't know anything about who and what they hear and see, your kids won't be able to talk to you about it. Once that happens you're on your way to losing them.

Also, the poeple in the music industry drive nice cars. Obviously I like cars. So yeah, I know who Ludacris and Jadakiss are. When my kid says, "Ludacris is from the dirty south"....I know what that means. I can reply that yeah, he has his own studio in Atlanta. Saw him driving a SC430 too.

It's heartening to know how much interest some parents take in the interests of their children. I hope that if I were in your circumstances, I would do exactly the same thing. Keep it up.

I have no children or grandchildren .... which may be why I was able to afford a $60K car.

Coolio had an SC for a minute- a red one. It was the first one I ever saw, up at Sprewell.
MTV was there shooting Coolio and the shop. Coolio is actually very coolio!
