WTB: '97-00 dash 1-piece wood trim
Looking for a 1-piece wood trim for '97-00 dashes. The one I picked up with a beautiful black dash is broken in two (I think someone tried to go through the wood to remove the dash) and there's very little material there for a strong repair. There's one on ebay for $30 + a rather steep $20 s/h, but it looks pretty cloudy unless it's just the flash in the pictures. I've already dealt with refinishing these buggers once...
Edit: The non-airbag 1-piece trim from the '92 might also fit, but that's an uncertainty. If the mounting points look like the above pic, I'd be interested. Also, I have most of the lower dash pieces in black, including the glove box, if you're looking to trade.

Yeah, I added that into the first post an hour ago. The info I've seen suggests it might be the same, but is inconclusive due to uncertainties about airbag (or lack thereof) differences. If anyone has, or has seen, a picture of the back side of a '92 wood trim, that would help. There are a ton more '92s around then '97-00s, so that would cast a much wider net.

I acquired a '99 wood trim, but it got pretty badly damaged in shipping... One item of mild significance is the design changed slightly in '98 or '99.
'97 still used the two little top/bottom set screws on the passenger vent, while '99 did away with them and instead used a regular screw on the upper right corner of the back side of the vent. So, to properly mount up to the newer trim, you need a newer vent with that additional top right ear.
I imagine it was a pretty big improvement, given that the vents are usually broken at the set screw mounts. Which also means you could get by without the new top right ear since it's usually broken free of any support over that way...

Thanks. I'm waiting to hear back from the other person about shipping insurance stuff, and I've got a pending earlier offer from another member here, but feel free to PM me with what you've got.
I've got two '93-96 center vents in fairly good shape, considering how busted up most of them are. I might be up for a trade, although both of us shipping them across the country would probably result in a bunch of broken pieces. Edit: They can fit the '92, '97-00 wood trim if you trim the one back side spot that became the main post hole.
