Default WTB Antenna..

I've replaced the mast twice and it just eats through it after a few weeks for some reason so I want a whole new antenna/motor in perfect working order. Plug and listen, that is all. Thanks dudes.

I have one I bought from a local member. Motor is good but the antenna itself wont go all the way down. LMK if you're interested.

I cannibalized a spare for my idea of using the mount and mast as a fixed stubby alternative, but I haven't completed the project. Once I do, my perfectly functional one (I just replaced the mast then unplugged the unit after a few days because my aftermarket stereo makes the antenna go up whenever powered on) will be available, in case you haven't found one by then.

What I do on my SC's is just unplug the antenna motor. No noise and no annoying RC car antenna extending in the air. IMAO, it was cool for the first 10 years. Radio Works just fine without going up.

That's what I've done temporarily, I'm just picky and want everything to work. Better yet I should just get the MDX nubby antenna and be done. They look way better too.
