I'll ask my installer what we need in that list.
How much for the AFC II?

How soon are you looking for a standalone .. I have a aem v1 for ge motor... I've had this box for over 7 years trouble free. It comes with the hks dli and if you are using a similar setup to mine ,you can use my tune from alpha from induction performance ..i am going up in power so need true flexfuel control being on e85 blend

Studiogeek,

I'll vouch for Ed's (LexforLife) setup. I have seen his car perform and have seen it in shows and you have a worry-free purchase if you are looking for a good stand alone.

Thanks,
I totally trust Lex. Been following his posts for ages. My installer and I have not fully decided on the direction we are going in. We may have to start with SAFC to stay on budget, if I can afford standalone, I will be in touch. I'm still W58 so modest mgmt, may be the initial choice. If I get sick deals, that may cause shifts in the plan.

Lex, what's your setup? how much for unit?

Thank you all!

I have my competition clutch stage 4 that I will be selling....it has less than 1000 miles on it.....It will come in original box...

It is the strip series #1620.....it is a complete kit....i dont have the alignment tool but that can be found for cheap...

I paid $380 for it last spring.....willing to let it go for $275 plus shipping....

FYI its the one that I posted in your other thread....

Here is a pic installed on my engine....I will be removing it and putting up a FS thread....but wanted to give you first dibs if you want it

If you run stock or slightly larger injectors with the GTE ecu, a Apexi SAFC works great and is super simple to tune.

If you want larger injectors and more control over the tune the MAP ECU 3 would be the way to go as far as piggy back tuning is concerned.

Thanks HIPSI,
We got a NEO to start with. We will switch to MAPECU3 or standalone next I think.
