PA WTB: Megan EZ Street Coilovers
#4
I have a set on my car I'd like to get rid of, they suck. Dont buy them. Havent personally ridden on BC coilovers but those seem to get much better reviews, and are only $1-200 more expensive (about $1000 shipped brand new).
If you're set on buying Megans though, I can start looking for something to replace mine with, then sell you mine..

Ride comfort, performance, etc. What's bad about them?

The are very bouncy, especially over rough roads. Even slightly rough roads result in the car bouncing around. The only time I ever find them tolerable is over perfect pavement (which is rare where I live).
As well, I've stiffened them up to try to prevent fender rubbing, and sure they're stiff over smooth pavement which creates a less then desireable ride. But when I hit a slight dip on the highway at cruising speed the stiffness goes out the window and they flex way too much, and I rub anyways. All this and I'm not even slammed, there's a figer gap or more on all 4 corners. It almost seems as if theyre not strong enough to support the weight of the car.

What coil overs offer very good support for our heavy vehicles, but also have good settings for stiff ride so I don't slam my car on my tires.
What do you recommend?
