Ok i just wanted to give yall a heads-up..there was a guy named Mickael Hooper that was conducting a group on the Supra parts for sale page about some JDM Engine swaps, V160, Supra diff and axles, aristo swaps vvti and non vvti.
Well he went missing so if you sent him your $$$ you better start a Paypal claim today , it's over $70k .

Smart guy. Must have actually known a few things about the market he was "selling" to. They usually go after a crazy low number which makes them easy to spot. These numbers are great deals that are under market value.

he sells lots of stuff on supraforums by the username mhooper2 (found out that mhooper2 and Michael Hooper are same from Omar). In fact he has 59 positive feedbacks there and no negative.

Damn, I almost bought the Titan 3.4 crank and V160 drivetrain from him before I decided to buy them new from the dealership.

He doesn't because Dave won't let that happen here..on sf they will buy a parts for 100$ and turn around next week and sell it for 250$ to the community...

His source of income was buying parts at cheaper price today and selling them higher tomorrow. .and people were falling for that..Ive never bought anything from him.

I was selling my engine setup with trans , and this local guy on fb page wanted to buy after sending him plenty pictures, he backed out without even letting me know, so I go on the fb for sale page and I see his comment about wanting to join the Michael Hooper group buy $4500 for a 2jzgte with v160.
He is now out $4500 I don't feel sorry for those types of people , cheap, cheap, cheap and no common sense.
Where are you going to find 40 6speed swaps in japan all at once with 30days? its not happening lol.

Deals are out there people should have just paid when the motors were stateside.I have been selling used parts online for over 13 years and theres no huge profits to be made unless you get the stuff for pennies. He just dealt in higher end stuff than I ever have.I will agree the jdm swaps have got scarce since the flood and are to the point that getting good inventory and making a profit will be very hard.I know some people that have dealt with Hooper and one is a close friend.I even met him once at the track. He is acting like he is bouncing I really hope that's not the case because they will find him.

His text messages to HI-BOOST of SF yesterday didn't make any sense. He says that his Facebook account was locked and most of the money is at Paypal. And he believes he is being screwed by the vendor in Japan.

With the prices he had been selling those parts v160, 2jzgte , 6 speeds diff. there was even no way he could have made profits. And damn, he doesn't need Facebook to refund the people from whom he collected money. Their email addresses are all on paypal so he can refund or communicate with them. If indeed their money is on Paypal, then he should be able to refund them even if his Paypal account is on restricted mode or even call Paypal and tell them to refund the people.

Just too many red flags up to now. More like a scam to me and BS kind of excuses.

When i saw his post and prices i knew it was to good to be true lol.. Sounded like a straight scam. I would rather just buy the motor stateside for a little bit more money and have a piece of mind then buy at a low price from somebody who i know nothign about. good luck to all those who lost money in this scam.
