Should be no issues. I had it on my car maby a month before I decided to part out. Never had any issues with it when it was on my car. Comes with a 3 year warranty as well.
If it helps I had a Mechman 200 amp alternator on my first car (Ford Explorer) for 2 years and it never had a problem and benched out at 203 amps when I parted that project out. I'm sure it's still going strong 5 years after I sold it.
