Hey Slide3ways,
I measured the front from the spindle tip to the joint where it connects to the rest of the half, and the whole entire length in two photos.
The entire DShaft from the flex plate to the other end is 51" across.
The front half, depends on where you're counting from, but it's 19" from tip to center bearing.
This was from a 99SC300 and is still very fresh.
