I just bought this compressor from another member on here. I did not verify if the donor car was a R134a or a R12 system...my mistake. I need an R12 compressor and clutch. If you want to swap, I will cover the shipping both ways. Compressor was pulled from a sealed system the day I bought it (July 3rd), and sealed with tape for shipment. Clutch is in good condition as is the compressor. I can only believe what the seller has told me, but the parts I bought from him were as described. Let me know if you have an r12 compressor for sale, or want to swap a R134a compressor and clutch for a R12 compressor and clutch. Thanks,

Jim, I do not know what your exact application is requiring, but millions of people have converted their auto r12 ac systems over to 134A without changing out compressors or anything for that matter. If converting, just vacuum system, install new drier, recharge and you are good to go. Plenty of DIY's/Youtube, etc on the whole procedure. It is really quite easy and Autozone rents all the ac stuff for free. R12 is much more expensive than 134a. Wallyworld sells 134a for about $9 a can these days.
