Kohinoor, I'd take a guess and say, since there were more than one version of the 6spd diff. The small casing diff (without the fins) is basically an auto pumpkin with the 200mm ring gear...so I'd assume you need the AUTO TRD LSD like you wound need for a GS400/430 diff that's commonly used with the V160 swaps.

If you are talking about the big case diff like the second one pictured, than you'd need the 6SPD TRD lsd kit.

At least that's my take on it. I haven't found any info on the sf about it.

You would have to get the 6spd TRD guts as the gear in the 6spd is larger its like a 8.5 in auto and like an 8.8 in 6spd hope this helps.

Both Diffs will bolt in the car but the 6spd diff will need a different DS to bolt up to the pumpkin and not recommended as that diff will kill the tranny.

My recommendation in the GS is the auto diff.
The cost to ship to Cali is about $150 through Fed ex.
Let me know.

It'll work great with the LS1 Need a driveshaft anyways. I thought I read that the axle flanges were different.

Just to clarify, the auto TT diff is a direct bolt in for a second gen GS 300?
I have a GTE swap and was considering doing a diff swap.
