I have three V160 Getrag 6 speed transmission laying around. One I will use for my SC project, one will keep as spare/extra since I have two cars with V160. The other , I would want to trade it with something I can use in my project. I will give you a complete V160 with tripod, shifter, stock supra 6 speed flywheel, stock clutch and stock pressure plate.

I can trade any of the following ..

a) PROEFI with flex fuel sensor , displays, harness for my SC 2jzgte project .
b) 3.13 gear ratio 6 speed diff pumpkin with new TRD lsd + one piece driveshaft for an SC (6speed project)
d) a new or slightly used set of CCW wheels with drag radial tires... supra fitment ... 11" at the back ..

Transmission should be picked up from 30075... or you take care of shipping , I will bring it to any of the shipping stores of your choice for packing and shipping.

Those 3.13 pumpkins are getting harder to find so am trying first my luck on a trade. One had been posted today on supraforums and there were so many ahead of me ... lol .. they go quick !

These right now cash go for around $3600 - $4000 aside from the fact that they are so hard to find... Every one wants a premium. I sold two in the past month or two for around that price and so many were asking me about them.

So if I get a trade , with what I am asking for the trade , the other party is on the upper hand since taking for example a 6 speed pumpkin is around $1500 + $1000 new trd lsd and another $500 for a driveshaft .. that is only $3000. Even a proefi setup at SP is less than $3500 with the CAN / displays , etc. or CCW wheels setup, I see them less than $3k being sold ... So I believe one who will trade will definitely be on the upperhand.

It would be worth the effort for someone to go buy a new proefi and just trade you. This is a very good deal.

EDIT: I looked on the SP site and could not find the proefi setup with all those options for 3500. It was more like 4200 for all the extras you are wanting...

I believe it is. Since these v160 are hard to find and everyone wants a premium for them. Just trying to give someone an opportunity to get a V160 for a good deal and saves me a lot of hassle too in selling & shipping it then looking for what I want. I am sure if I post this on supraforums, this wont last long just like the two I sold in the past two months.

I have one offer on the table now for something else. Keep them coming guys. I will give it some days before I make a decision. Am not in a hurry since the traded item would be for my next SC project. Ain't even done yet on my Red Dragon .. ...

I really want a PROEFI !!!!!!!!!! thats a clue I guess.......

i have a diff, but how do i know if its a 6 speed or auto diff? it came out of a tt supra that was auto and someone did a 6 speed conversion

The Six speed aluminum cover will have the big heat sinks sticking out on both sides..

I just traded what I posted here for a set of CCW wheels/tires .. let me think if I still want to let go of another V160, my spare. They are getting so hard to find now. The last two I sold a month or two ago went for $4000 and went quick on supraforums and did not even include the OEM flywheels. One had to travel 500 miles and the other 250 miles to pick them up from my place in Roswell.

NOTE for everyone ... this tranny had just been traded and picked up !
