FS: SC3/SC4 Diff Bushings - hot off the presses
5 Sets available, 120 shipped. paypal info is in the sig.
This has been a quest of mine for over 1 year as these need to be replaced/upgraded in almost all Toyota mkiv supra's and Lexus SC300/400 and GS300/400 because when the very soft rubber of the stock bushings flexes under torque/load of the drive line it causes the differential to change positions and return to the normal mounting position rapidly which in turn causes dreaded driveline breaking wheel hop which is where these bushings come in to play as they replace the soft rubber stock bushings.
I was looking all over the earth for poly bushings to replace the stock ones to no avl which until now only solid aluminum bushings were avl for more than double my price and if you are like me solid bushings are just not going to cut it on a street drivin car so look no further here is your solution!!
I will say that when I installed them in my own car which is daily drivin the difference was night and day as the wheel hop is totally gone as well as a "diff clunk" I had been chasing for quite some time when taking up a drive gear from a cold start/high idle.
People often ask me how would I sum up the feel with these installed to which the best most reasonable answer I have would be... It feels like the car picked up 15whp down low in the powerband as it totally transforms the feel of the car with a much more connected feeling with out the harshness or vibration caused by that of a solid bushing.
Price for the xspsi6 poly rear differential bushings are 120.00 shipped in the USA.

Nope just chisel it out with either an air chisel which takes just few Minutes or use a good old hammer and a regular cold chisle which takes 5 minutes so the hardest part is pulling the diff but even then it's not totally necessary as I have snuck them in before without pulling it all the way down.

Any tips for us? The diff I'm assuming I could just use a jack support it, drop the two bolts and lower it enough to get to the top half of the bushing for replacement.

The diff is supported by 2 12mm allen bolts in back and 2 19mm for the 2 front ear mounts. It also has 6 10mm allen holts holding on each axle, but you maybe able to get away with keeping those on and just dropping the whole diff, but im really not sure. id just unbolt everything and drop the diff out to make the process a bit easier

Here is a mini DIY .....
This is what you will see with the stock bushings in place
Pull out the diff and you will see this
Air chisle out the old bushings like so
Or cold chisle it out like this
Once they are both out which should take 10 mins tops it will look like this
Now take the old stock bushings and burn out the rubber as you will re use the center tube
After all burned it will look like this and now you can just peel off the burnt rubber and toss the outer ring
Now just pop in the new bushings by hand and reinstall the diff as you normally would and remember this is not a press fit but rather a sandwich fit so it all fits loose until you torque every thing down then it will compress making the fit tight as can be.
This is the center metal tube piece you will re use
Here is the final product
Now lower down the car and go enjoy your wheel hop free Lexus/Supra!
The difference will be noticed right away as soon as you put the hammer down as the rear diff stays planted under any condition and Lexus/Toyota built these cars with comfort and luxury in mind not getting all the power to the pavement so they were far to soft to begin with then add in 15 years of age and use and I would say almost all of them need replaced by now even if your car is stock and this is often overlooked which is crazy because this is one of the most critical bushings that need upgraded or replaced on our cars.
Your car will launch much much better and we have tested these on 1000+ whp supras with no issues thus far and the warranty is good for the lifetime of the car as long as you are the one who originally purchased them.
