For sale i have an extremely rare set of Grex Alcon JDM big brakes for the MKIV supra. It was never offered in the USA.
It is used and removed from a JDM imported Supra TT

The entire kit is EXTREMELY LIGHTWEIGHT... half the weight of the brembo bbk that i have on my lexus.

keep in mind these are used parts, not new, but in excellent shape.

this is the full front kit. all parts are below.
all the nuts, bolts, washers and clips have been cleaned as pictured.

I emailed the alcon guys for the retail price as of 4/2010 and this is what he sent me back (DONT KILL THE MESSENGER) $ 7500.00!!!! to me thats a bit much, but my price wont be anywhere near that high.

apparently these are very rare and hard to come by for the supra

Four piston staggered bore design for better pedal feel and reduced pad taper. Machined from billet aircraft aluminum alloy for superior strength at high temperatures. Large pad area and volume for maximum braking performance and pad life. Titanium nitrided stainless steel pistons for reduced heat transfer. Ventilated piston inserts to reduce heat transfer through the brake fluid.

since original price is 7500....with pads ... these pads are toast...so ill sell the kit for less than half of that knowing you have to buy pads.. rotors are still great! u can re-groove them if you want...or not.

after a few pms, and some research i just wanted to say these are not the cheap rotora grex calipers and rotors that suprastore sells. these are the previous to rotora taking over production for grex, these are true Alcon calipers, rotors, and alcon braided brake lines.

price has been adjusted for feasibility. 2400.00 takes them home. thats the forums price only. and that is not an obo pricing. this is probably the best performance brake system ever offered on the supra/sc300/is300/ls400..... i cant believe they havent been spoken for!

no offers at all from the forums. really.... this kind of amazes me especially what i see what some of you are paying for terrible parts. it really baffles me. soooo no one needs a bbk? will trade for parts also... just saying.

I don't think that's the issue at all...It's just that even at that insanely low price it's still a bit steep...Plus maybe it's a bit difficult to justify the $2000 asking price for only 2 front calipers, No matter how rare it may be...Just saying...GLWS!

well its not just 2 calipers, its rotors, calipers, braided lines, caliper brackets, all the hardware, shims, and its all polished. maybe on CL its hard to justify. but even on my lexus i spent over 3k for just my front big brake setup; and if anyone thinks 2k is expensive for brakes try calling stoptech, brembo, or any other bbk company. they will start at around 3k.

dont get me wrong i do understand, but even if you were buying rebuilt supra tt calipers, rotors, braided lines, slotted rotors, and had them sent off for polishing, you would be in the 14-1600 range for brakes that wouldnt work great under high heat or track stress. they weigh more than double, and wouldnt have a bit of the stopping power.

and the 2k is still or best offer, but the price is getting damn near criminal. especially for race level parts.
