I perchased a 97 cluster for my 95 but I changed my mind. I haven't installed it. I purshased it from Peral2.

can this replace a manual transmission cluster and work properly? i did a fast search and no conclusive evidence.

doesnt matter if its manual or auto. sc300 cluster wont work with sc400. and a 97 cluster wont work with 92-96

why do you think the 97+ cluster wont work in the 92-96 cars?

The plugs are diff unless you get the pig tails from the car.



Ok fellas. It's an sc400 150k on the clock auto and everything works.

I have a 92 SC400 & need to replace the tach & speedo motors & some burnt out needles. It's mentioned that the 97 cluster has differenter plugs than 92 but do they use the same speedo & tach motors? if so, I'm interested.

Um, the cluster pictured definatly is not a 97+ cluster. I dont know who told you it is, but that pic is a 92-86 cluster. Needles on the 97 look different than those do. Making that clear.
