99-00 SC400, SC300 - Nakamichi Radio, Amplifier, CD Changer, Center Console Trim
After numerous installations on my SC I have a few parts leftover I have decided to post them for sale here. All parts were removed from a 1999 Lexus SC400 with 60k miles with the Nakamichi system. So please make sure the parts will fit your vehicle before purchase. Please PM me if interested and I can provide the my PayPal account for payment. All items will be shipped insured UPS ground to the continental US.
The first item is a Nakamichi stereo. This unit is in excellent physical and operational condition and all display/button lights appear to be functioning.

Next, I have the original factory Nakamichi amp also in perfect working order. Brackets are also included.

Here's a factory CD Changer with magazine also in good working order with brackets and in good physical shape. Has a couple of small tears in the cloth tape on the top of the unit.

Center console bezel only, no *****, hazard switch or ash tray. In very nice shape showing only extremely minimal wear.

Maybe this can be answered by some of the other member on here. How much of an upgrade is the Nak sound system compared to a base 1999 SC300 stereo? Are the base sound system's speakers and sub the same as the Nak system? Is the upgrade a simple swap?

Unfortunately it would not be a simple swap, all the parts of the system are different from the harnesses, to the stereo, and all of the speakers. It would be a lot easier to just go aftermarket than try to add the factory Nakamichi system.
