i think there is a big different, bc i thought my trunk shock where blown, but when i put the carbon fiber it stayed up

Very big difference! I could seriously hold a CF trunk with a couple fingers. I think it's under 10 pounds. And if you've ever carried a stock trunk you'll know it's around 40-50lbs. But I do not know the exact numbers.. just take my word that there's a very noticeable difference.

You will need blown shocks so that the CF trunk will close

Stock is big time heavier. Carbon fiber hood should be used with hood pins IMO just to be on the safe side. Eventually I will use CF trunk and hood but will use 1 layer of factory color paint over it. I personally don't like a black CF hood. The doors are available too, but very expensive, $1000+, but more dangerous on a side impact.
