As much as I would love to keep it, I don’t think that at this point it would be the best thing for me to do. I don’t HAVE to sell the car, but it would make things easier on me right now, so here it is.

I have personally invested over $50k in mods on this car in the past 5 months, and it had roughly $20k in it before I bought it.

The car itself has 56k on it, and the motor in the car has roughly 5k, but when sold it will have a brand new motor, because we are rebuilding it due to it having a noisy idle (bad wrist pin).

Also, the car will have a freshly ported head.

Just getting the motor rebuilt and the head ported will put me another $5k into the car….

Please keep in mind that I PERSONALLY have WELL over $80k in this car since purchasing it in November of last year. I do realize that I am going to be taking a big hit, but please be realistic in your offers and questions.

It would kill me to have to make a post of me selling my LX even though it's a freaking pig, so first I wanna say sorry that you have to get rid of it. But second, I have friends who may be interested in your car. Do you have any performance specs, dyno, somthing I could tell them. I'll see if I can help you out man

sorry you are getting rid of the car - it has been a legend on these forums. OK, what'cha got up your sleeve? What are you getting next?

Francis-

The car made 662 RWHP on the dyno at 31psi and the nitrous. The dyno couldn't put enough load on it to reach full boost, but the car holds 35-36 psi on the street, so the car makes easily over 700 RWHP.

As far as times I have never gotten to run it full out because I always get warnings at tracks just on medium boost with no Nitrous (for not having a cage) on 25psi with bad plugs on drag radials the car went 11.50... If you watch the video (I have it if you want to see it) you can even see me hit my brakes before the traps trying not to get kicked out This was on a pretty lame 1.93 60-ft as well.

wow.... i cant beleive all the money you have put into your car.... everything in your car is basically what i need done to mine... however i dont have much into mine... we do need to talk ... even if i cant buy your car
i need some good advice on taking steps to fix up mine because i dont want mine to turn out in the wrong direction if you know what i mean... i want it all done right
but maybe you could just name a price that you are interested in looking at selling for and let me know

right now i am in italy, but when i get back which will be august 2nd (ive been here since june 21)
we can talk about how i need to fix my car and in the steps

Are those horsepower numbers actual, or corrected? & how close to sea-level was the dyno?
