I really fell like killing someone. today while i was driving i heard a loud pop i thought it was my sub when i looked around it was my back glass, some little punk broke it and ran away, god help whoever it was if i had seen them.

anyway i tried the search button and i got 365 post for (rear glass) so did any of you change you rear glass, if so where did you buy it, i called the dealer and they said $800, does anyone have one for sale or know where i could find a cheap one, i'm not in the mood to go through 365 post right now, sorrl if i sound lazy i'm just in a fu@#ed up mood.........................................

honestly the rear glass is not made to be removed in one piece. this means a new glass from the glass shop is probably your only option. Most people will not even attempt to remove a rear or front glass since they are glued in, unlike any of the other windows.

Installers usually break them trying to cut the glue to remove them, and most glass shops won't touch them if you are lucky enough to get one out in one piece due to stress cracks in the glass.

the bottom line, if you are lucky enough to get one out, it will be twice the hassle finding someone brave enough to attempt installing it back in. Most every shop i have ever seen flat out refuses to do it under any circumstances.

Most glass shops sell aftermarket glass. that's pretty much your only hope aside of the stealer.

sorry i did'nt say before but my rear glass is shot, the only thing keeping it together is the tint so it can just be pushed out.
but that glue has to be a pain in the ***.
think of my rear glass as being compleatly gone................
