Talking spoiler

I got my spoiler from spoilerdepot.com and I'm VERY satisfied. It's been on the car for over 2 years now and I haven't had any negative issues at all. I have a '92 SC300 and the spoiler was $125.00 (same materials and style as OEM without the OEM price). I selected the '97 style spoiler with the LED because I just thought it looked better than the lip version. I had to pay them extra to have it painted and another fee to a body shop to have it installed. All in all I think everything cost me a little over $200. A steal IMO. They charged like $60 to paint and ship it to me and the body shop charged me $35 an hour to put it on, it took less than an hour. The spoiler also came with a great warranty and the company had good customer service so I was very comfortable. Give them a try, they have all different styles. Like I said, I was very satisfied and I'm probably as **** as they come. I'll give you an example: When I had the body shop put the spoiler on, the gorilla who initially helped me tried to remove the foam packing material which was taped to the spoiler by simply ripping it off, bad idea. This caused a slight blemish on the spoiler from him dragging the foam and tape across it's freshly painted surface. I was livid and the head guy at the shop came over to see what I was about to get in his technician's ase for. I explained and the main guy basically said "I'll take care of it, relax" So they ended up buffing the hell out of the spoiler for me and I drove off a happy camper. Hope this helps.

Mike, I was looking at the exact same spoiler on SpoilerDepot.com

Price is $125 ($100 for color option). Good deal.

Before I purchased, I printed the photo and asked my local body shop (he worked on my g/f's 325i), and he said $250 to install ... (drill, rust proof, attach, and wire to lights). I thought that was a pretty hefty price so I gave up.

I may check out another place and see if they can do better, albeit the first body shop does some great work ...
