TV Fuse- Any Ideas?
So this might be a very stupid question but I was looking through my fuses on the passenger kick panel and found a fuse labelled "TV." I know that in an Australian SC430, a member in another forum said he was able to pick up TV stations via a TV tuner that was OEM with his vehicle (reminds of me of the old school MaxMad vehicles.. no haven't seen the newest installment) Does anyone know specifically what this fuse controls... if it's just the screen then I'm going to feel like such an idiot. I was lead to believe that all the navigation fuses were in the trunk. Anyway, patiently waiting for answers. Thanks!

The 5amp TV fuse is at the top and goes down to the GPS screen.
This procedure will allow the viewing of an alternate signal on the GPS screen, ie. beatsonic allows you to switch between the GPS screen and an alternate input, ie. Movies, but when the emergency brake is released, it goes to the GPS screen. Refer to the schematic, Pins 4 and 15 are located on the connector on the bottom side of the screen. SPD=speed. PKB=parking brake. If you do this procedure the car will always think it is parked and you can do anything you want with the screen.

But it only works when you are stopped with the parking brake applied. If you do the modification I posted above, you can override the parking brake and the car will allow you to watch movies on the GPS screen while you are driving.
The video is supplied by an external source, it could be a camera or anything. In my case, it is the Pioneer Head unit and it plays DVDs

I am going to do the modification to my GPS screen aka MFD but I am not going to cut any wires. I will just remove pin 4 from the connector and apply a constant ground to pin 15. The constant ground on pin 15 may cause the dash brake light to come on and if that happens, I will just disconnect the wire on the emergency brake switch and run it to a constant ground.
Is everyone confused now? ;-)
It helps if you understand a schematic.
I was lucky and the USAF taught me...been chasing wires all my adult life...I love it!
