Default Congrats to the Silver Bullet

Just heard that the Silver Bullet got a 5.1 second 0-60 on the track! I'd say that is incredible given our cars are almost 4000 pounds and only have 4.3 liters of displacement. Could this be the only sc430 in the world that can return this impressive time that is NOT turbo or supercharged?

I have seen his set up firsthand- it takes planning, time and lots of effort!
Congrats and look forward to the next mods.

thanks everyone. Still work in progress as are my track skills.

After I completed the Supra TT differential insatlled I went to Capital Raceway in MD and got in 12 1/4 mile runs. The two best runs were under 14 s. I used a 0-60 calculator based on the time and speed at 1/8 mile and for those runs it was under 5.1 s. Had about a 1/4 fuel, anout 70oF, did the burnout, and used brake launch with about 3000 rpm. Ran on 19" Forgestar wheels and Michelin all season tires. Lighter wheels and summer tires would help a lot as would dropping weight.

Hope to get out on the road track in June running on new lighter wheels and extreme summer tires.
