Default Spoiler King rear roof spoiler

I purchased and installed this spoiler a while ago. Top fits but in some cases (mine including) the sides or the spoiler rest on the carpet edges on the edges of the trunk carpet. One owner according to the folks at Spoiler King installed small supports on the sides of the trunk. Other folks don't an issue.

I did a CF paint over so it didn't have the dull polyurethane finished. First clean, sand and buff. Duplipaint has a new CF paint kit. There are two paint colors and a rubber template to get the weave pattern. Did sone practice testing first. The instructions are clear. The best results depend on carefully fitting the template and waiting the recommended times between layers. When all is dry I applied two layers of clear acryllic. I did this for my grill as well - right over the PlatiDip black I had done years ago. It is not CF but looks really good compared to matt black.

Tip for install - you need to heat up the spoiler so it will mold to the curve of the window - drive your car a bit to heat up th engine and with the car off olace the spoiler in the engine comp for about 10 min. Then install and tape down until it gets cold. Also the one I received did not come with a good glue or strong tape. You need to use the 3M Molding tape with the red backing ...

The picture shows the damage from the trunk carpet and the CF finish. I repaired the damage on both sides with black epoxy, sanding, refinish ... The epoxy is stronger than the polyurethane.

Now, can I ask you as a honest Frenchman....do you find any truth to the claim that the Lexus design study engineers based their shapes for the car's look on the French Rivera?
Non? It's just as well...but are those wheels really Lexus stock originals over there?
