Bacardi, Amen to that! One thing I will say, the 430 was always my "dream" car. I am 58 years old, retired military guy, with 28 years of military experience.. I finally bought it about 3 years ago...best car, funnest car I have ever owned! I have spent some money on it, and loved every minute while doing it :-) There is nothing better than putting the top down, and riding. Some of my motorcycle friends would say, just buy a bike. I had one of those in my early military days...I value my life more now. Sorry, not meant to offend anyone...just me. Over 28 years of military time, I went to the hospital one too many times in the middle of the night when some young soldier wraped himself and his bike around a tree.

Funny, I just took my wife out for her first ride in the SC with the top down yesterday and mentioned how it was a lot like being on a bike without as much risk. I used to ride too, but after a few spills and my dad getting killed on a bike by an errant driver, I like this way much better.

This is my first convertible since I never cared for rag-tops I never owned one before now. I love being able to go from coupe to convertible in 25 seconds!

If there is such a thing as car-lust, I certainly have it.

I get the same feeling whenever the back wheel of my slips 6 inches in a curve. I love driving convertibles but it isn't the same. The risk on bikes is high though as you make so clear.
