Rudy:
Yes, I will update.
By the way, can you help me with a quick question?
As new member I tried to place a for sale ad.
I got back a notice I needed to be a member for a month and have 30 posts first.
Than Notice keeps popping up every time I open my Club Lexus forum link.
I went into my "In Box" thinking I could remove it from there but my in box is empty.
I tried al of the links in the bar that shows "UserCP, Photos,FAQ, Members, Calendar, New Posts Search, Quick Links, My Posts, Used Cars, Vendor Dirctory" but can't find where that Notice is located so I can remove it.
Can you tell me if there is a link I can go to where I can remove notices like that one?
Thanks, Bob

I wouldn't have a clue. Sorry. I'm no expert on matters Club Lexus. I would have thought it would be in the messages section of the CP but it may be system generated every time it sees you log on. Sorry.

Mornin' Rudy:

I sent my question Davegs4 (I believe he is the moderator of this site).
He told me the notice will automatically disappear after I have made 30 posts.

Bob,

Walmart carries Krylon brand spray paints.

Yikes! I can imagine me grabbing the wrong can an painting my dashboard! I have a short attention span and it's totally possible I would do that! Dulling spray is kind of a specialty item. Mostly photography. It's not that hard to find. Like I said, Amazon carries it. Also just to repeat, I've never used it for this purpose. You'd be experimenting if you try it!

Thanks, RUDY and FLYCT.
I think I will wait till the mat gets here and not play with the Dulling Spray unless the mat does not work.
I figure it will be a pain to try to mask off areas against overspray and it will also be a pain attempting to get an even spray over the back side of the dash hump.

Have the same problem on my DW Nissan. First thing she did when it was new was wipe down the dash top with Armor-All (it's plastic!). Reflection is bad, I just throw a black sweatshirt up there for road trips lol.

ArmorAll makes these "natural finish detailer protectant wipes" that will leave the dash with a matte finish.

Very easy to use, wipe it on and dry it off.

That certainly sounds like something easy to use and no worry about overspray.
For some reason when I think Armorall I think of shine.
Can you provide a link where I can view a picture of the product so I know what to look for?
Better yet, can you provide a link for ordering the product on line?
That would be greatly appreciated.

Google & Amazon are your friends.

Actually, you are also my friend, but it looks like Amazon isn't.
I went to the link you kindly provided and tried to order.
I got a message that the item was an "add on product" and it had to be purchased with an order of $30.00 or more. So I could not order it since I didn't need anything else and wasn't about to spend $30.00 just to get a $3.50 item.
I will see if I can find it at Pep Boys.
Thanks for the picture, at least I will know what I am looking for.
Bob
