Default Gave in and bought MeisterR Coilovers

Well I gave in and bought the MeisterR coilvers. After dozens of hours of research, I found these to be likely to provide optimal ride quality. Hopefully my luck will improve. My last few mods have not gone too smoothly.

Here is the link to the coilover description:

LExBrett, pls keep us posted of progress. This is one of the things on my list.
Two quick questions, if you don't mind:

Will you lower the car as well, or keep height as is?
What wheel size and tires do you have now?

Thanks, and good luck!

I don't plan to lower my car but I may in the future. I want to see how the car rides at stock height. Plus my exhaust is really low and I don't have a lot of clearance. I'm running 18" wheels non-run flats. I will keep you posted!

Not sure if they are swift springs, but the website says the spring rates are 7kg/mm in the front and 6kg/mm in the rear

I can't complain about anything. Car ride great and handling is the way i like it. I also like my 18" Work Rims my car is lowered .8 front and .6 rear with the Swift Springs. when you lower a car 1" or more the need to change front and rear sway bar links to properly work for the lower car..

Leanwitit- Are you referring to Megans or MeisterRs in terms of good ride quality?

Default Initial impressions

Just got the MeisterRs installed tonight. I have them in the middle of the damper setting at 18 in the front and back. My initial impression is that the ride is much smoother and controlled than my oem shocks. I'm going to play around with the setting tomorrow. Lots of people told me that coilovers would always reduce ride quality. It's just not true. It depends. In my case my ride is better, and although I haven driven hard, this set up will most likely handle better too. By the way, these coilovers are 20 to 40 pounds lighter than oem so thats a perk. More details to come..
