Not to highjack your fine thread however could you real astute SC 430 Champions list everything that should be replaced in the timing belt service and the shop time involved. I know Sewell has a great premium kit but is there more. I would have thought the Serpentine belt would be apart of the kit. My belt & front engine look brand new.

It's $309 with the Club Lexus discount.

Register at Sewell and enter your CL user ID at the bottom of the registration page. After logging on again you will see the CL Discounted price

You must then re-log on with you email address after registering it. Then search for the parts parts and you will see discount prices.

Nova, I see your rotors have rust around them just like mine. i was thinking of doing something to make them look nicer. Have you given any thought to what you'd use to clean it up since you already have your tires off? I was thinking of some Black High Temp Paint after some sanding. Possibly making a "ring jig" of carboard so I can spray it to keep it as an easy job.

PS.. the red calipers look great! Really pop!

DO NOT LET THAT YOUNG MAN DRIVE THAT CAR UNLESS YOU ARE IN IT!!! You were16 at one time, what would you have done with a car like this? Remember the movie, "Ferris Buehlers Day Off"

Get that boy a four cylinder...

Honestly, I hope you were kidding about him driving your car!

Yep, we got him a four cylinder! 2015 BMW X1 twin turbo M Sport and I'm getting a lot of heat from our folks from why we got him a brand new vehicle.... For me, life is too short and he is the only kid we have. He does so well in school (all AP classes / straight As), very responsible and a bit more mature for his age and all he asked me before is when he gets to drive if he can get a decent vehicle not a beat up one where we spend a lot of time fixing it. That we made sure and also my wife and I get to drive his X1 also so I think it's a win win for the whole family.

P.S. ShawnOk that video is hilarious!! Yes, we got hosed....
