Do stiffer suspension upgrades improve track times?
Recently I upgrading to an ISF rear sway bar. There is clearly a lot less body roll in my car, and the tail end feels more in control.
To my surprise, the car feels much faster off the line. At first I thought this was just in my head, but after reading several articles I found that stiffer suspension reduces flex of the body and results in faster track times. I'm not sure if I am explaining it correctly.
What do you all think? Is there general consensus that stiffer suspension in these cars will improve track times?
Questions/comments welcomed

The suspensions absorbs energy, softer bushings, suspensions give a comfortable ride but the stiffer suspensions transfer more power to the wheel itself. But I also think that too stiff of a suspensions is a bad thing too, especially for the track. My inexperienced opinion on it anyway.

Yea it feels like more power is getting to the wheel. The ride does seem more stiff too and more bumps are transferred into the cabin. I prefer a softer ride, but I like the improved performance. Not to mentioned less body roll..
