New member : please help vsc/vsc off light/ans lights r on
I recently bought a 2003 lexus sc430. runs good but needed struts. So instead of spending 600 on some oem struts I bought some coilovers for the car. My friend and I installed them at a shop. When I was back out the shop the vsc off, vsc, and abs lights are on. I drove the car around hoping the system needed to recalibrate or something, but they were still on. I put the car back on the lift removed the tires and inspected everything. We didn't have to unplug any sensor so none of them could be damaged.
i did some research and saw the tc/cg jumper wire thing but that didnt help. The car still runs and drives good and the power is still there its just those lights are on.
I discounted the negative battery too but I dont think that is going to help

Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes. Try it. Good luck.

did the battery thing it only resetted the radio and clock.
my friend said speed sensor might be it but I unhooked it from the srut before removing it and there is a lot of slack line when the arm falls to allow removal of strut. but my boy works at the dealership and he is going to put it on the machine for me.
Thanks for the suggestions

Are you getting a code from you CEL? If so, try resetting the code with an OBD2 tool. I read on CL that when all the lights come on at the same time that is kind of a general limp mode, and may have nothing to do with your VSC. For example, I recently seafoamed my engine and all the lights came on. Code was a misfire, which was likely generated from all the carbon gunk freed up. I reset the code, lights went off, drove hard in the highway and the code never came back. Just my thoughts..

Has anybody dropped there car with springs or coilovers and had no issues with these lights? I read one person drop their car and the lights came on but that thread was 4 years old and should no results in solving the issue.

Darn it I was hoping it was an easy fix. You might use the search button, if you haven't already done so. I think I recall someone doing suspension work and having the three lights go off..

fix'd
thanks for all the help and advice...way better than the other forums.. but it was an easy fix. When I installed the coilovers I must of put some stress on the wheel speed sensor because it was bad. I unhooked it from the strut but when I removed the upper control bolt and the arm fell it must have stretched the wire..
