I just replaced mine, 2004 430 SC with Strong Arm brand off Amazon. These are very similar to the KYB OEM look.
Qty (2) StrongArm 6423 Rear Trunk Lift Supports Struts Shocks Springs Cylinders
Sold by Lift Supports Depot
Condition: New
$49.90

Mine needs replacing as well. How much are the OEM's and are they KYB's?

I was thinking about this item as well, it is the SC430 WITH SPOILER. I will pull the trigger as well. Not bad price. Thanks Mandy

All these struts die after about 5 years on most cars. my 07 PB just started doing it too, but only since the colder weather. In 4 months I'm sure they're be back to normal. For around $20 I just might pick some freshies up, though, thanks guys!
Or you can be ghetto and throw a $2 tomato pole in the trunk of the car LOL no thanks. I guess it beats getting klunked in the dome piece while you're unloading the groceries.

Warranty service invoice was almost $300.
They also gave me a RX loaner for the day, which I used to make a 500 mile round trip.
The car is so reliable I don't think I'll get my money back for cost of the warranty but the wife is happy since she doesn't like unexpected expenses.
