Hi all.
We have been looking after our SC 430 for 8 years now, like a member of the family, we could not imagine being without.
All original spec, as far as I know.
Right Hand Drive
Chilli Red.
Mark Levinson Audio, (currently not working). Suspect faulty amp.
Black leather interior
Based in England, Lymington, nr Southampton, South Coast.

Happy New Year!
Gosh it already seems such a long time ago.
Since my initial post the SC430 has had a visit to our local dealer, (Snows, Hedge End, Southampton). Both service and customer care were excellent. The dealer provided a loan car for the duration and the SC430 came back sporting a lovely shine.
The reason for the visit I guess is well know within the forum i.e Type pressure sensors AND Amplifier issues. The valve and sensor required was out of stock, but was delivered and fitted reasonably quickly.
The amplifier, however, is a different story. I asked the service centre to check the operation of the amp as I suspected that this was where the fault lay. Sure enough, the report read 'Faulty Amplifier'. Disappointingly the report also said that the Amplifier was no longer supported by Lexus. So regardless of cost, Lexus UK can offer no help.
I wanted to have this report in hand before I got to work.
I am now going to set about removing the amp. Wish me luck!

Errr, aren't major manufacturers like Toyota supposed to support their products with parts 15-20 years out ?
