Passenger side, before the catalytic converter on the exhaust manifold. Bank 2 Sensor 2 is passenger side after the catalytic converter. Bank 2 Sensor 1 is up there a ways and space is tight. Definitely need a lift. The harness connection isn't too bad because it connects to the engine harness and doesn't go inside, under the center consoled like the rear sensors do.

It might be that the seal between the cat outlet and the exhaust Y pipe is cracked / worn / damaged, allowing in air, with normal oxygen levels, and the engine thus thinks either the cat is not working or the sensor is kaput due to the high levels of oxygen measured.

I ran into this 6 months ago and fixed it for €3, with a new crush seal between the cat and the exhaust.

The fault will always be with the second sensor, either left bank or right bank due to this worn / damaged seal issue, so make sure which sensor is generating the error code first.

Just had mines replaced, I think it was easier then the bank 1 sensor 1. But yeah you'll need a lift.

Good luck
