DVD music in the stock system?

Does the stock system play DVDs? I know there is a DVD Navi in the trunk. Does it play regular DVD music?

While I've heard of some people being successful by burning their own custom DVDs, the short answer is No. The DVD player in the trunk is set up to only play files in Book-type DVD-ROM format (NAV files & firmware are in this file format). Music/video files are usually in non-compatible formats.
