Bitten by the NSX bug... Help me price my PC SC430
I test drove a 1995 Acura NSX and that was a mistake. I really want one now. This said I have "no more room at the Inn" and something has to go. I wanted to ask the list what they felt a fair price for my SC would be.
Stats:
2005 SC430 Pebble Beach Diamond Black with Piemento Red Leather
Perfect interior and exterior, no paint work, fading, winter use
2 owner car
Newly installed (500 miles ago) non-runflat Michelin Sports
Factory SC430 (complete) installed
No mods (Zero)
46,329 miles
2 owners
All service records from new Lexus of Massapequa and during my ownership Lexus of Warwick RI
Factory cover
3 sets of PB floor mats 1 red set still in bag other two sets are red (perfect condition) and 07 PB black/red floor mats
all factory keys including wallet key
all books
Tumi SC leather garment bag that came with car when delivered new
New brakes and rotors by Lexus of Warwick 3k miles ago (last year)
VIN JTHFN48YX50063285
Ok now what do you think I can sell this car for?

Normally one would ask "Why are you trading away the reliability of a Lexus for a sports car?", but in this case "It's a Honda", with built in reliability that any Acura or Honda dealer can service.
And while you are not among the very earliest pioneers, you are still getting in while the rise in values for NSXs is still sharply upward. If you buy a clean example of one of the more desirable years and models you should expect a 20-30% rise in value in the next 5 years.
Please share pictures of your final choice and good luck!

Thanks guys...
Anyone looking for a perfect 05 PB SC?
I was hoping for closer to $24-25k for it. No winter use, bottom is as clean as top, seriously. Every key, card, book, 3 sets of mats, Lexus /TUMI ) PB leather garment bag, unused, PB brochures, Michelin non-runflats with less then 500 miles on them put on 5 months ago, complete factor spare kit installed by dealer, new front and rear brakes with rotors! by Lexus of Warwick, new Lexus battery, every service at dealer done on or before due. No paintwork, no fading to interior, sheepskin covers on seats. As good a 05 PB as you could hope for.

Factually, that is only half right. The full answer is:
It worth what someone is wiling to pay for it AND what someone else is wiling to sell it for.

i was shopping hard for the either the 2002 neiman marcus or your exact same car over this past summer. What i found were a bunch of sellers asking $25-$28k. The ones I spoke too that actually sold their cars, sold them between $21-$23k with similar miles to yours. Hope this helps a little...

Thanks all this thread helps. My SC is officially for sale $23,500. (Last pic with sheepskin covers is the picture Mr. Blister sent me of the covers in his PB, I ended up buying the seat covers from him) I am happy to bring the car to any local mechanic for a PPI (weather permitting) The car has never been exposed to salt/sand/new england winters.

Thanks!
It is a over maintained perfect PB with ZERO stories and beyond pampered it's whole life. I have every delivery tag including the "lexus leather" seat tag, the original rare 2005 PB brochure, and all of the other delivery items. The PO had custom made clear plastic floor mats to put over the installed set of Red PB floor mats, absolutely no wear or fading to the floor mats IN the car AND the car still has the second set of "as delivered" red PB floor mats still sealed in their plastic bag AND i have a full set of rare 07 black/red PB mats that will go with the car.
